#EliorCares

Elior North America is committed to supporting the communities where we live and work. We do this by partnering with various local and national organizations that align with our mission to deliver innovative culinary experiences that are uniquely tailored for each customer and local community that we serve.

At Elior, we care about our team members, clients, communities and the people that we serve each day. It is our corporate responsibility to reach beyond our kitchens and identify opportunities to positively impact people across the country. Together, we can make a difference.

Meals on Wheels America

Our TRIO Community Meals team has partnered with Meals on Wheels America to support our shared mission to end senior hunger. For more than 50 years, we have supported communities and seniors across the country with nutritious meals. Our teams make a difference in the lives of seniors with a friendly face, a warm smile and a compassionate heart. We partner with Meals on Wheels programs across the country as we work to make a difference in people's lives by helping at-risk seniors maintain their independence and enhance their lives with quality meals in a safe, welcoming environment.

The network of local Meals on Wheels programs feeds nearly 2.5 million seniors each year with a combination of home-delivered and congregate meals. Anyone can get involved and help this amazing organization. To get involved, visit www.americaletsdolunch.org to learn more about the Meals on Wheels America, Let’s Do Lunch initiative. You can sign-up to volunteer with a local program and directly impact seniors in your community.

Hurricane and Disaster Relief

Over the past few years, several areas within the United States were impacted by catastrophic hurricanes that left entire communities devastated. People lost their homes, electricity, food and supplies.

These events inspired our teams to do what they do best. By using their sense of service, our people mobilized quickly to provide much needed aide to the areas hit hardest by these storms. Our teams worked tirelessly to pack and ship shelf-stable meals for residents and shipped more than 4 million meals in three months. They also played an integral role in helping their local communities, accounts and first responders with much-needed shelter, food and basic supplies.

Susan G. Komen - Race for the Cure

One in 8 women and one in 1,000 men in the US will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetimes. Komen Charlotte’s mission is to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our local community and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer. Komen Charlotte serves 13 counties in and around Charlotte with education, mammogram screenings, diagnostics, treatment support, financial assistance, and research.

On October 5th, Elior North America had the opportunity to support our local community through the Susan G. Komen Charlotte’s Race for the Cure. Cura®, our healthcare brand, was a platinum level sponsor providing a sunrise breakfast for more than 700 breast cancer survivors and those currently suffering from metastatic breast cancer on Race morning. We were grateful for support from our Constellation Culinary team and Elior North America volunteers in providing and serving this hot catered breakfast. Additionally, Lisa Schairer, Cura Managing Director of Operations, served as captain for our “Cura® for the Cure” race team allowing us to raise additional donations for this important cause.

Women's Leadership Council

Elior is committed to providing equal opportunities for all team members in the organization. In 2018, we introduced Elior North America's inaugural Women's Leadership Council. This group represents women from across the family of companies who come together to support, inspire and encourage one another as they work on company initiatives. The Women’s Leadership Council will welcome a new group of participants each year to reach as many women as possible within the organization.
