Brittany Mayer-Schuler

PRESIDENT | CORRECTIONS

Brittany Mayer-Schuler is President of Elior North America’s Corrections segment, under the Summit Food Service brand, and leads both strategy and operations for the segment. Serving most recently as General Counsel for Elior North America, Brittany joined the company in 2012 and developed a comprehensive corporate legal and risk mitigation structure designed to support the growing organization. Until she assumed the role of President of the Corrections segment in July 2022, Brittany oversaw all aspects of litigation, contractual review and negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, and compliance, and created, built and instituted internal programs, processes and teams to support risk management, crisis management, and workplace and food safety.

She has extensive experience in contract negotiation and management, labor and employment law, and corporate compliance. Before serving as General Counsel of Elior North America, Brittany was named VP of Legal Affairs and previously served as General Counsel for the Elior North America subsidiary, A’viands, LLC. Prior to that, Brittany represented management clients with the law firms of Dorsey and Whitney, LLP and Seaton, Peters and Revnew, PA. Brittany served as a law clerk for Target Corporation and served as a federal judicial extern.

Brittany serves on a variety of counsels within Elior North America, including The Elior North America Executive Committee, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Steering Council, the ENA Compliance Council, the Corporate Social Responsibility Council, and Elior's Governance Team. Additionally, she was recently recognized as a “Woman to Watch in Hospitality” in the Hospitality, Travel and Leisure Index by WiTHL. She also has received accolades from the Charlotte Business journal for legal innovation.

She earned dual bachelor’s degrees from the University of Minnesota and earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from William Mitchell School of Law.
